It was my birthday last week. I usually pay no attention to it, specially here in America, where my birthday suffers from the dreaded “too-close-to-a-holiday” stigma. You see, my birthday is on October 30^th. This year though, my friends threw me a surprise little shindig, with cake and everything.

Pedro shows us all how its done, when he inks a page of his activate comic Glam in record speed and still kicking ass.

The following day, after delicious empanadas cooked by me, some people leave.

Yali and I try to do a 9 hour comic. Needless to say, I fail, and miserably so. I only get one good panel outta my Halloween themed comic. And here it is, with flashier colors and textures than what I usually use.

It was a lot of fun, and a great surprise, so thanks guys. Now I gotta start planning great things for your birthdays…. At least some good presents. (Both Bone: One Volume Edition and Scott Pilgrim, which I got as presents, rule this earth)
